My mission is to make the Carroll County Sheriff's Department one of the best law enforcement agencies in Ohio. Well trained, well supervised, and well respected in the community. Professional law enforcement to serve the citizens.

My name is Eric Stanbro. I am running for the office of Sheriff of Carroll County, Ohio November 2016. I have been a police officer for the city of Canton since May, 1996. I was a SWAT team member for over 14 years. I have worked patrol, narcotics, and K9. I want to bring my law enforcement experience and abilities to the Carroll County Sheriff's Department as it's leader.

I have been awarded the Canton PD Medal of Valor, the Combat Cross with 2 crosses, and I was voted as the Officer of The Year by the Canton Police Patrolman's Association in 2000.
