RAAD Broadcasting Corp. is incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (1972) and is solely owned by Roberto Dávila Rodríguez and wife Emelie E. Ríos. The corporation owns and operates WXYX-FM, WKSA-FM, WXLX-FM. All class B fm radio stations with output powers of 50,000 watts each, the maximum allowed. WXYX-FM is our standard bearer with studios in the metropolitan area of Bay...amon, whose powerful digital signal allows us to cover to two thirds of Puerto Rico and services the markets of San Juan, Fajardo, Humacao, Caguas, Arecibo, Ponce and adjacent islands. RAAD is a family administered corporation that has shown continued growth since its humble beginnings in 1972. In 1998 acquired the assets and F.C.C. Broadcast Licenses of WCFI-FM 103.7, call letters changed, now WXLX-FM 103.7, which services the west and south part of the island from its site in Cabo Rojo. Its powerful signal includes Ponce, Mayaguez and adjacent cities and towns. RAAD acquired in May of 2009 the F.C.C. Broadcast License of WKSA-FM 101.5 Isabela, whose powerful signal also penetrates the west with the added value of the north-north east territory of Arecibo and adjacent cities and towns. La Equis FM programming is also heard in the islands of Vieques, Culebra and behind El Yunque (east ) through booster facilities located in Ceiba and to the south its signal is enhanced with a booster in Juana Diaz for the Ponce area. These has allowed La Equis FM network to remain competitive in today radio business environment. RAAD Broadcasting Corp. is the holding entity of Radio X Broadcasting Corp. ( WXLX-FM ) incorporated in 1997 and La Equis Broadcasting Corp. ( WKSA-FM ) incorporated in 2009. See More
