WE, THE PERSONNEL, of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, are committed to assuring the residents, guests, and visitors in our community a secure and superior quality of life. We accomplish this by maintaining the highest state of readiness, dedication, and compassion in order to minimize emotional, physical, and economic loss. We acknowledge that empathy toward human suffering requires special individuals who realize the importance of their unselfish contribution and personal commitment to the welfare of the team and community. In our organization, we strive to make a difference in our people by creating an atmosphere of teamwork and fellowship while recognizing the individual attributes and responding to the needs of each other.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was created by State law in 1984 to provide fire and emergency medical services to portions of the unincorporated area and select municipal areas of Palm Beach County. These areas are designated within two Municipal Service Taxing Units (MSTU's) which were created to fund this service. We cover 1,822 square miles and provide services to approximately 807,729residents ...throughout the County. In addition to providing fire suppression, hazardous materials mitigation and emergency medical (advanced life support) services, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue provides a number of other services related to protecting the lives and property of its citizens. The prevention of fire before it starts is of paramount importance in effectively protecting life and property. Public education, annual inspection of businesses and ensuring strict code compliance on newly constructed buildings are all methods utilized by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue to reduce fire incidents.
