WNIK 1230 AM, the One of Arecibo as it has always been known, was the third station licensed to broadcast in the town of Arecibo ... See more in 1959.
Operated at first by the Cabrera family, then Llerandi family, in modern times it is administered and operated by the Family James Santos and Kelly Broadcasting System Company for 1978.
WNIK has always distinguished itself as a flagship station, transmitting musical events, cultural and sports but especially the feeling of Arecibo for over fifty years.
