WLRH supports education, the arts and community service in Huntsville, Alabama and the Tennessee Valley.

WLRH is Alabama's original public radio serving Huntsville, Decatur and north central Aabama and south central Tennessee. We broadcast three FM and HD channels at 100,000 watts across northern Alabama and southern Tennessee. 89.3 FM/HD1 is our tradional signal. 89.3-HD2 is our 24-hour classical music service. 89.3-HD3 is our News/Talk/More channel.

WLRH is a non-commercial public radio station, licensed to the Alabama Educational Television Commission. Funding is provided by the State of Alabama, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and listener contributions. WLRH, Alabama’s first full-service Public Radio Station, is a member of Public Radio International, American Public Media, and National Public Radio. Offices and studios are located on the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus.
