KNXR went on the air December 24, 1965. Currently it is the only locally owned commercial station in Rochester, MN. KNXR features easy listening music including artists such as Andre Kostelanetz, Acker Bilk, Francis Goya, Earl Klugh, Jeff Brooks, The Strings of Paris, The Boston Pops, Enoch Light, Henry Mancini, Percy Faith, Paul Mauriat, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Rosemary Clooney, The Baja Marimba Band, Leroy Anderson, Michael Buble, The Singers Unlimited, The Carpenters, Ray Coniff, Norah Jones and much more!
